Let me say some things about myself before I start my official blog. The two most important things you need to know about me are that my name is Amirah, and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am so happy and privileged to be a part of this religion, and it has blessed me in countless ways.

I'm going to start this blog by stating the reasons why this blog came to be.

First reason: I am not very good at writing in a journal.
All my life, I have made efforts to write in a journal everyday, and I can stay on track for a week or two, but after that, it just slips my mind. Writing in a journal, or keeping a record, is actually one of the things that my church stresses is important. I have always tried to do it but then I lose track and feel bad about it. This is my next newest attempt to keep a record.

Second reason: I need a "wholesome" way to distract myself from the lures of hulu.
Man oh man. This website will be the death of me. Everyday after school I do homework, but before that I always just have "this little thing i have to check", which turns into hours of Once Upon a Time, the Good Wife, and my shameful guilty pleasure, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I need to stop trying to keep up with 20 tv shows, and actually try my hardest in school.

Third reason:
The last and third reason is I am making an effort to become more educated, and this has to be educated than sitting around watching hulu (see reason dos).

I chose this blog name because it is simple and confusing at the same time. My Crazy Happy Life could mean two different things. It could mean my life is crazy happy, or it could mean that my life is both crazy and happy. To be honest, I have no idea which one it actually means! I'm just going to leave you wondering which one it is, and let it nag at you :) Just kidding!

Well this brings my post to an end. Hopefully this won't be the first, last, and only post on this blog, but that this is the start of many posts.
